Born in Osaka, Aki graduated from the Faculty of Social Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University and worked as a reporter of the Yomiuri Shimbun, engaging in various coverage activities for about seven years. Specialty areas include airplanes, airport, domestic travel, overseas travel, souvenirs, gourmet, hotel, girls journey, traveling alone, business trips and cameras.
An adventure-loving traveler at heart who's made happy roots in Japan. Still plenty of exploring in her life, however... climbing snowy mountains, running a half-marathon, learning Thai massage, trying new vegan recipes, and of course doing what she can to strengthen the LGBTQ community in Japan.
