YouTuber rrobbert184 spends most of his time making Gundam models, but once in a while he does get out to eat. On a train tour through 46 of Japan’s 47 prefectures, he identified what he declared the best ramen in Japan: Tontoro in Kagoshima, way down at the bottom of Kyushu.
Users on TripAdvisor—and our friends at Ramen Adventures—don’t seem to agree, so we may have to take his assessment with a grain of salty pork. But when they have the inevitable robot battle to decide the winner, rrobbert1084 could just have the edge.
