OHaNAS is the creation of toy company Takara-Tomy and communications giant NTT Docomo, an unsurprising tie-up as the evolving world of technology sees the expansion of communication in every direction.
Unlike many robot toys, OHaNAS doesn't move, but just as hanasu means to talk in Japanese, his main duty is delightful conversation. He'll connect to the cloud to answer your questions or tell you about the weather, respond to your touch, and is supposedly even capable of holding a flowing conversation (in Japanese only at present). The reviews over at Amazon so far don't seem to be too hot, but maybe there's more to this little robo-sheep than meets the eye?
