SkyDrive successfully conducted a manned test flight in late August. The vehicle is operated autonomously and can fly at up to 100 kilometers per hour. Considering Japan’s limited land area, the company made the machine four meters in length and width.

The flying vehicle can take off and land on an area the size of two car parking spaces. The manufacturer is also developing a flying car that can carry two people. The firm aims to enable the operation of a flying taxi by the end of March 2024.
