Meet the New Ramen Craze in Yamanashi

The mayor of Fuefuki, a small town in central Yamanashi Prefecture, helped to create a local trademark dish dubbed "raho," which is ramen made with Yamanashi-style hoto noodles.

The dish was created as part of a government initiative to promote tourism, and beat out other hoto noodle fusions like pho and carbonara. Either way, if it tastes half as good as it looks, consider us on board!
