DaizyStripper formed in 2007 and has been gaining popularity over the years with its energetic sound. The band has even toured abroad in Europe, Asia and America.

Among the veterans of the scene, DuelJewel formed in 1997 and ended activities in 2016, a record period for most visual kei bands. They performed abroad several times and even released an exclusive USA and European album titled We Will Melt You.

While this snowy song was released in 2013, Fest Vainqueur was created in 2010 by the same members of Sincrea, active under that name from 2005 to 2010 and wanting a fresh start.

Even if you regularly listen to visual kei, you might have never heard about this band. While Icy. was probably busiest around the early-mid 2000s, many traces of the band are hard to find and would be forgotten by now if it wasn't for its vocalist, now called yo-ka. He went through another band called Marely before being a part of Diaura, formed in 2010, and is now among the best-known bands of the contemporary scene.

L ～Lotus～ was an indie visual kei band active from 2010 to 2013, with several changes in its lineup. If you like their sound, vocalist Kazuya and guitarist Wataru are still active in a new band called The DC.

La'Cryma Christi is among the "historic" bands of visual kei, active from 1991 to 2007—the early '90s were the golden age of popularity for the genre. The band has seen some short revival periods from 2009-2010 and on the occasion of their 15th anniversary in 2012.
