YouTubers Rachel & Jun introduce Linimo, one of only two maglev (magnetic levitation) trains presently open to public use in the world, the other being in Shanghai. Originally opened for Expo 2005, the Linimo is located in Aichi Prefecture.

Rachel hands off to Andrew Marston of Happy in Japan—who lives close to the Linimo line—to explain all about the technology. While the fastest maglev train can get up to about 600 kilometers per hour (373 mph), the Linimo maxes out around a more stately 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph). Watch the video to find out more!
