The uniforms for the opening and other ceremonies are the first unified design for both the Olympics and Paralympics based on the theme of “symbiosis.” Japan’s ace swimmer Daiya Seto, a Rio Olympic bronze medalist, said he feels comfortable wearing the uniform as the material stretches well. With the Olympics set to open in 183 days, the athletes pledged to do their best on home turf.
