Fall Leaves Redder than Usual in Central Japan
Visitors to Mount Norikura in central Japan can now enjoy fall foliage. And wow are they in for a treat this year!
By NIPPON TV NEWS 24 JAPANA local tourism association says this year’s climate made the leaves turn redder than usual. The colored leaves are expected to last until the beginning of November.
A potentially active volcano, Mount Norikura can be found on Gifu's border with Nagano Prefecture. It's listed as one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains.
