Hakone Free Pass

By Super Cheap Japan

http://www.supercheapjapan.com/hakone-free-pass/

The Hakone Free Pass from Odakyu Railway is the best and cheapest way to visit Hakone. It provides unlimited use of the cable car, ropeway, tourist boats, trains and buses in the area, plus the ride from Shinjuku Station and back. It also provides discounts to around 50 places in Hakone.

What does it cost? A two-day pass is ¥5,000 (US$49) for adults and ¥1,500 (US$14.70) for children. A three day pass is ¥5,500 (US$54) for adults, ¥1,750 (US$17) for children.

A return ticket from Shinjuku Station is about the same price, but only covers that journey. However, the cable car and ropeway while included in the Hakone Free Pass, are a bit expensive without a pass, making this a must-buy!
