Colombian designer and illustrator Carolina Puropopo shares with us her trip to Kyoto and Nara. Among her many artistic shots, two standouts are the graceful katsuobushi (bonito flakes) dancing on heatwaves from a teppan (metal griddle) and the serenity of the giant bronze Buddha statue at Todai-ji, the largest in the world.
