18-Meter Gundam Robot Unveiled in Yokohama

This is the size of the robot that originated with the TV animation series Mobile Suit Gundam that began in 1979. The machine will be on display at Gundam Factory Yokohama, an event scheduled from December 19 to the end of March 2022.

Visitors can enter the hangar and see the robot up close. At a separate booth, they can see the view of Yokohama that Gundam sees in real time using 5G technology and feel like they are riding in its cockpit.
