The renewal construction took nearly three years to complete. Three subway lines go through the station used daily by around 260,000 people. The platforms have pillars that light up in colors representing each line.

Photographs of the Ginza district dating as far back as 100 years are on display, showing passengers how the area has transformed. New elevators were also installed to enhance accessibility.
