Mysterious Seeds Delivered Across Japan

Health Stay Home Tokyo Kanto

Packages marked China Post containing mysterious seeds began turning up in mailboxes across Japan, despite no one ordering such items.

Officials at the ministry of agriculture say there have been at least 744 reports of such mysterious parcels since the end of July. The seeds were in envelopes marked China Post. Officials warn that the seeds could potentially be contaminated with viruses that could spread disease. They say those who receive such a package should not open it and send it back or consult a plant quarantine station.
