How to Be Safer while Social Distancing

A group of experts is suggesting new life routines for people to follow as an effort to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus while maintaining a certain degree of social and economic activities.

The group includes wearing a mask when going outdoors and keeping a distance of at least 1 meter from other people. It urges children to go outside rather than staying inside when playing together while also recommending frequently washing hands thoroughly for about 30 seconds using soap.

People are being asked to keep a record of who they met when and where so they will be able to trace their activities in case they become infected with the coronavirus. They should also refrain from talking with each other while eating.

The experts are calling on people to avoid using public transportation during rush hour and to walk or use bicycles when possible. They are also urging people to maintain physical distance when exercising.
