Edo Open Air Museum is a huge outdoor museum consisting of 30 culturally significant buildings from around 1600~1960 that were relocated, restored, and preserved.

Among the buildings is stationery store "Takei Sanshodo" and Shitamachi-naka Street—both which helped served as inspiration for scenes in the Ghibli movie "Spirited Away." There are also residences of famous Japanese historical figures, bathhouses, and more.

Entry is only ¥400 for adults (with discounts for students and seniors) and free for kids.

Location: 3 Chome-7-1 Sakuracho, Koganei, Tokyo 184-0005
