The Main Stadium for 2020 is Nearly Complete!
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics main stadium is 90% complete, one year before the games begin! Construction started in December, 2016, and has some 2,400 crew members working hard to get it finished for its opening event scheduled for December 21st.

Interesting enough, there is no air conditioner, which is surprising for Japan, which has pretty hot summers! Instead, Electric fans will help keep spectators cool.
Progress on the arena has been clipped along at an impressive pace, and we can't wait to see what it will look like when opens later this year!
