Jasmine T. of Zooming Japan walks readers through exactly how she got past the JLPT N2 test and prepped for the N1. She has some great suggestions for studying kanji in particular, noting that pure memorization didn't work for her after the first 150 or so, leading her to try the Heisig method, which enabled her to memorize the meaning of 2,000 kanji in just over two months!

Then it was a matter of finding a different method that would allow her to memorize all the kanji readings. Find out how she did it below!

Zooming Japan

Zoooming Japan does what the title implies: it zooms Japan, bringing it closer to everybody and offering a lot of details about the country. The website focuses on traveling in Japan, but also has a lot of other interesting information concerning daily life (e.g. how to obtain a Japanese driver’s license) and culture.
