Origami You Can Wear Around Your Neck

Handicrafts Origami Fashion

After a night of paper folding with a friend, two French designers, Claire Naa and Arnaud Soulignac, found themselves so amazed by the endless possibilities of origami that they created a line of origami jewelry.

In 2008, they produced their first metal jewelry piece: a peace crane.

This was followed by a rabbit, a deer and even a triceratops!

At 2.5 to 3 centimeters (0.98–1.18 in), the petite size of the delicately folded metal designs enhances their cuteness.

Now their designs have found a universal appeal, with their collection available online and in stores all around the world. Customers can choose from a variety of necklaces, bracelets, rings and cufflinks.

For €140 (US$158.83), you can pick up a number of different animal-shaped pendants, including an origami cat in sterling silver, gold plate, pink gold plate, or gun-metal.

To see more designs and learn more about the couple who made them, be sure to visit their website. With their international shipping options, you’ll be able to send origami to loved ones around the world!
