People Make Places is a new initiative that wants to show you Tokyo in an intimate way as you’ve never seen it before.

Available for about $10, this iPhone app allows you to see a beautiful collection of unique destinations in Tokyo with a focus on the individuals who shape them. It's the brainchild of long-time Tokyoite and travel writer Charles Spreckley, who posits that it's the people behind the places that make them special.
