It's a ray, it's a beam -- it's "Shooting Star" bullet train!

Kyushu Railway Company ran its special bullet train on March 14, marking the 10th anniversary of the Kyushu Shinkansen Line's full-scale opening.

777 wishes solicited from around the nation decorated the vehicle. The scenery enchanted thousands of spectators in Kagoshima, Kumamoto, and Fukuoka prefectures. Viewers in Chikugo City in Fukuoka Prefecture, southwestern Japan, were even able to enjoy a spectacle of fireworks and rays.
