Cindy Bissig is a Swiss-born travel and food writer, photographer, and professional sake sommelier based in Japan. Organizer of the Tokyo Sake Challenge, a doburoku ambassador, and an international sake judge, her work explores the intersection of cuisine, culture, and craftsmanship. She travels widely to document regional food traditions, fermentation, and the chefs and artisans behind them, sharing stories that connect local excellence with a global audience.

Originally from New Zealand, Louise George Kittaka is a bilingual writer, content developer and university lecturer based in Tokyo. Her areas of interest include travel, business, education, environmental concerns, and issues pertaining to the international community. When she isn’t at her computer, Louise loves exploring waterfalls, going to cake buffets and collecting anything related to the Aliens movie franchise.

He is the author of Loving the Machine: The Art and Science of Japanese Robots.

I'm a writer now, but have been a jack of all trades when it comes to publishing, including designer, editor, and creative director. I was at The Japan Times newspaper for 10 years, which I rebranded and redesigned in 2017. Since leaving the JT, I've been studying wine and I am currently doing the WSET Diploma. The main focus of my writing these days is the wine of Japan.
