In acclaimed action director John Woo's latest film, Manhunt, Chinese actor Zhang Hanyu stars as a prosecutor accused of a crime he didn't commit, while Japanese actor-musician Masaharu Fukuyama is the super-detective sent to chase him down.

The film is a remake of Kimi yo Fundo no Kawa o Watare (君よ憤怒の河を渉れ), a 1976 production directed by Junya Sato, itself based on a novel by Juko Nishimura. The original film was a smash success upon its release in China. John Woo's remake will be released in Japan in early February 2018.
