The luxury and technology of Japan’s toilets have attracted loads of internet attention all over the world, but convincing customers to purchase these state-of-the-art potties has proven a difficult task. Japanese toilets, which can warm and wash your bum, are not cheap, and many cultural differences have prevented Japanese Washlets from taking off in the West. Japan-based Toto, the largest toilet manufacturer in the world, is looking to tap into the foreign market and let the rest of the world know about the comfort of its Washlets by creating a toilet gallery at Tokyo’s Narita Airport.
