On March 17, a press conference was held to announce the crank-up of the movie Sanada Juyushi, which is set to premiere on September 22, 2016. Directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, the Sanada Juyushi, or Sanada Ten Braves, are legendary ninja who assisted the warlord Sanada Yukimura during Japan's Warring States Period (1467-1590).

Following a taiko drum performance, the lead actors appeared one-by-one in impressive full regalia: Kankuro Nakamura, Tori Matsuzaka, former AKB48 member Oshima Yuko, Masaya Kato, Shinobu Otake, Kento Nagayama, Kazuki Kato, Mitsuomi Takahashi, Yuma Ishigaki, Taro Suruga, Ryouta Murai, Atsushi Arai, Ken Aoki and finally director Tsutsumi. The film is adapted from the stage play of the same name, which was also staged by Tsutsumi and premiered in 2014.
