How to Onsen in 10 Minutes

Texan in Tokyo superblogger Grace Buchele Mineta finally lays down the primary onsen caveat that nobody ever talks about:

“If you don’t want to show your junk in front of people you don’t know, you probably shouldn’t go.”

With that out of the way, Grace and her husband Ryosuke got special permission to film in Yumori no Sato Onsen near her home in Chofu, western Tokyo. They took advantage of the opportunity to walk viewers through every step of the process, from shoe lockers to pool hopping—and even address how to get over that initial embarrassment.
