This smoking area outside Osaki Station has artwork on the ground. The lifelike images include a carp floating in a pond, green meadows, and a view of Earth from space. Officials hope that users would avoid stepping on the art which naturally ensures separation between people while smoking. The measure is currently in its testing phase.

Ward officials plan to adjust the size and distance of the illustrations after reviewing their effectiveness.
