Spend a night out with cheap drinks and a retro Showa atmosphere in Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho, literally "Memory Lane." Originally a black market for World War II, nowadays it serves as a maze of izakaya and BBQ food stalls where you can explore different traditional Japanese bar foods like yakitori with a cheap beer.
