5. Xex — Gentleman & Ladies × Tinder Valentine’s Special (Nihonbashi)
Tinder—ah yes, the app that has made dating/flinging into a swipe-driven free-for-all. But if 50 million people are into it, so be it. And that's beside the point: The point is Xex Nihonbashi is a stellar venue, and we highly recommend you go at least once. Why? It has a classy atmosphere (it is in Ginza after all), a surprisingly stellar sound-system, and a big enough space to hold a decent-sized crowd.
Mind you, since it is in Ginza, drinks are pricey. Resident DJs Masanori Marita and Masato Yukawa (plus a slew of others) will take to the decks for this event on February 12. Expect an array of house music, from the underground to the mainstream. Guest-list is ¥2,000, while regular cover is ¥3,000.
4. Ele Tokyo — The Weekend Valentine Edition (Azabu-juban)
A young, sexy, and mixed crowd is sure to be popping up at Ele Tokyo this Valentine's Day weekend. If you can stand the music (mainstream EDM), then this is the place for you. Girls enter free, which generally means there will be many. Guys, on the other hand, must fork out ¥3,000. Bring your mojo and dress up!
3. Trump Room — Milk Returns: Valentine's Edition (Shibuya)
