Kuroshima Tenshudo

3333 Kurashimacho, Sasebo city, Nagasaki Prefecture

Kuroshima Tenshudo was built during the Bunka and Bunsei era by Japan's early Christians who moved from Ikitsuki and foreign countries. In the very beginning, the resident Marmand father stacked the island's specialty Kuroshima granite. Afterwards, the cathedral building was finished with 400,000 bricks by 1902. *It's required to contact the cathedral's information center before touring.
